Linsey
12 years old
I can hardly believe it but my little girl has turned 12. Most everyone that wishes her a happy birthday follows it up with some kind of comment about how she is almost a teenager. I cringe every time. Time goes by way too fast.
We celebrated Linsey's birthday on our RV trip (more on that soon).
Here we are the morning of her birthday on Grandpa Bill's back porch.
Donuts for breakfast! Woo Hoo!
Emma and Savannah helped me decorate the RV.
Great Grandpa Bill
Cousins!
Aunt Tally and Uncle Chris
Braydon
Camille and Uncle Mike
You can see from the excitement on Linsey's face in this next picture that she was really happy to get a Kindle for her birthday~
I'm pretty sure that in another 12 years she won't remember that gift,
but she'll always remember this one...
Everyone in the family wrote Linsey letters. We compiled them into a book full of love, memories, pictures, advice for the future, and testimonies from all of Linsey's grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins. It really is a treasure, more special than anything money could buy.
Once we got home, we had a birthday party with all of Linsey's friends. We planned a picnic dinner at the park and then walked over to a fun pool for some swimming.
Linsey had fun decorating her own cupcakes this year.
I thought she did a pretty good job.
Linsey has some great friends! We are so glad they could come and help us celebrate!
Happy Birthday Miss Linsey!
