For Time and All Eternity...

Anthony & Elina Butler
May 3, 2013
Logan Temple

Traveling to Utah for this wedding was totally worth it.  We love Anthony and could not be happier with the sweet girl he chose to marry.  It was so neat to be able to be with them on their special day!

All of my kids adore Anthony.
He is so sweet to them and I love that the first hug he gave (of many) was to Emma.

Hers was much sweeter than this group hug.

Aleck and Hunter

Can you tell the two guys next to my dad (grey suit) are his brothers?

At weddings, you take lots of pictures....
My parents are in the middle.  My dad's two brothers and their wives are on each side.  It was so fun to see all of them, but I was especially excited to see my two Aunts.  They are so much fun!

My Aunt Cheryl, my mom, and Uncle John.

I think these two girls are just gorgeous.  Someday it will be their turn to get married... like maybe when they are 36.

My nephew Aleck thought these tulips smelled like chicken.  I have to admit, when you got close like that, they did.

 More pictures.

This next picture is one of my favorites.  It sums up the relationship of these cousins.  Braydon is in the middle, just plain a good kid keeping everyone in line as best as he can.  Linsey and Savannah have their arms around each other, besties.  Emma and Gavin are just sweetly holding hands - they have the sweetest friendship.  Austin is just being cute, and then there are those two goofy kids on the end - Hunter and Zachary.  They look innocent, but watch out, they are sillier than ever when they get together.

It was a really fun day and that was only the beginning.
After a delicious catered luncheon, we spent a relaxing afternoon at our hotel and then headed over to the reception.  It was at a really cool barn.

You could walk, or hop a ride on a horse-drawn carriage.  There were peacocks and baby animals along the way, it was really cute.

It was a great place to have a reception.  Simple, elegant, and fun.
I loved that they had an ice cream bar too.  Yum!

I had really hoped that Anthony & Elina would have chosen to get married in Washington because a trip to Utah over a quick weekend is a long drive, but I changed my mind and was really glad he got married in Utah because it was so much fun to see most of my cousins and Aunts and Uncles.
Me, my cousin Michelle, Uncle Dan, Aunt Carrie, cousin Mat, and his wife Christy.

My cousin Melanie who I also referred to as my best friend growing up.  We are only 3 months apart and I just love her.  I'm so glad I got to see her.

We got to meet our newest Butler cousin Maximus, born on my birthday (and Doug's)

The Baers.  Old family friends.
We went on countless family vacations together which we lovingly titled the Baer-Butler adventures.

 Savannah and her beautiful mom.

Anthony is the fun uncle.  When we get together, all of the kids end up in his room.  The lights go out, the music starts pounding and they have dance parties.  It didn't surprise me when he got the music going and convinced all of the kids to dance with him and get the party started.
It didn't take long at all and things got pretty wild.
Austin got to experience the thrill of dancing in the center of a crowd all clapping for him and cheering his name.  He did all sorts of spins and fancy dance moves.

I love Anthony and we are all so excited to have Elina as part of our family!
