Arizona Sunshine

 A girlfriend getaway and some sunshine is just what I needed!
 

My friend Tracy was the perfect person to host, she is simply amazing!
She recently moved to Gilbert, we miss her like crazy.

This is the courtyard between her home and her casita (guest house.)  Yeah, it was pretty fabulous.

This was the guest house, where I stayed.  Sure beats any hotel.

 

Her entire house was just as beautiful and to top it off, she had a resort backyard.

It was complete with a swim up bar, perfect for the hamburgers Tracy grilled up for us, right at the pool. 

Check out the fun water slide, but more importantly, check out those tricks.

We hardly needed to leave her backyard, but we did have lunch at the fancy clubhouse one afternoon.  Yum!

I had no idea these were so much fun.  I seriously had to look into how much these cost, I kind of want one.
But not for $6,000.00.

A perfect evening hike.

We worked up an appetite and headed off to a yummy dinner...


 And then ice cream..

On Sunday we drove to see the Mesa Temple.  It was beautiful, as every temple is.

The Gilbert temple is being built not far from Tracy's home, it looks like it's just about complete. 

It sure was fun to spend the weekend with such great friends!
