We tried something new to start off the year 2016! We went skiing!
My brother Chris and his family came out to visit, they were the perfect family to go skiing with because they are all experts, and they had lots of nice, warm gear to share with us.

Braydon
He was such a great help with Austin, he held out his ski pole and basically pulled Austin down the hill. Well, actually Austin took off and Braydon used this system to help slow him down - basically he was his "brakes".
My brother Chris worked with Emma a bit. She was doing pretty well after spending the morning on the bunny hill, but after a run or two with him she became a pro.

It was a really awesome day! Everyone had a blast!
We came home that evening, got warmed up and geared up for our New Year's Eve party!
We had fun playing silly games and putting together our family time capsule!
We started off the New Year with a family 5K fun run!
Emma and Austin both won prizes in their age groups! Way to go kids!
And then we all piled in the car to get donuts, because we earned them!
We are so glad to have this fun family to be silly and goofy with. No matter what we do, it's always fun!
