Aren't I lucky?

I always wanted sisters. I begged and begged my parents, but somehow I ended up with all brothers. (which, by the way, turned out to be okay.) My dad promised that one day I would have sisters-in-law. It seemed so far away.

Now, here we are. This is a picture with all of my McInelly sisters-in-law. I feel so lucky because they are all so much fun to hang out with and I just love spending time with them.

My sister-in-law Emma and her two boys came to stay with us for a week while our husbands were out fishing. We had so much fun hanging out at parks and lakes, going to the zoo, watching movies, and spending time with family.

Several months ago my mother-in-law pitched the idea that we should all do a triathlon. I was definitely hesitant about the idea, but in the end I went for it and ended up having a blast. I loved that all of my sisters-in-law were able to do it. We had a great time training together and cheering each other on during the race. I think we were a little intimidating with our "M team" t-shirts too.

Yup, we decided to jump in the lake afterward, thinking that a good soak would be helpful for our sore muscles. I'm not sure that 37 seconds was enough ....... it was really cold.
