A little of Dad's world

It's been a few weeks now, but since this blog is what turns into our family scrapbook each year, I wanted to be sure to include pictures from this little family outing a few weeks ago ..... okay it's been over a month.

We started off by taking the kids to see where Jared goes when he heads off to school.  This is his building.

He took them inside to the classroom where he spends many, many hours and showed them the seat he usually sits in.  Not the front row, but not the back either.

The kids thought it was fun to take turns pretending to be the teacher.

They about died when Dad showed them this ice cream freezer where they can have a treat anytime they want.  They each picked something.
Drinks too.

This is the cafeteria where Dad eats his meals on Wednesday nights and all day Saturdays.

I wish we would have done this earlier because it was nice for everyone to have a mental picture of where Dad is while he is gone to school all this time.

Next we headed over to the Robotics competition in Seattle.
Dad explained everything to the kids and they had fun cheering on the different robots, but mostly they had fun collecting pins from all the different competitors.

It was a great day.
I think we all appreciated Dad a little more.
He's pretty smart and works really hard.
We love him!
