We woke up to snow this morning!
Many would not put an exclamation mark after that, however we don't get much snow around here so a little bit brings a whole lot of excitement! School was even delayed an hour. The kids got their coats and hats on and set out to make a snowman. They had all sorts of fun running around and giggling. You'd think it was Christmas!
Speaking of Christmas, Emma got a princess nightgown for her Christmas pajamas and we haven't been able to get it off her since, well at least not without a fight. She wants to wear it day and night so it didn't surprise us one bit when she decided she was going to go and play in the snow wearing only her nightgown and hat.
She didn't last too long. Here is everyone making their "COLD" faces.
Of course dad had to end the fun with an all out snowball fight. They even attacked me as I was attempting to get some pictures. Tonight the snow has mostly melted, all except for our snowman. Tomorrow it will probably be gone. I think it's perfect!

Hurray! Looks like loads of fun! Emma cracks me up with her nightgown. She and Alex would make a good pair: I can't get the pj's off that kid either. Glad your kiddies got to experience some of the white stuff!
I am glad they had so much fun in the snow. I'd gladly share what we have if I could. I love the snow - except to drive in it - but we have gotten pounded the last little while, with more to come. James can't get enough of the snow. Last night Matt had to pick him up and carry him in crying and kicking the whole way.

We loved the snow too- aren't Dad's the best? They are so great to play with the kids and do the most fun things.
Chloe got some princess pj's for Christmas too and they are a hit- she wears them almost every night and I can barely sneak them away to wash them. Emma looks so cute in them out in the snow.
I think you sent your snow our way. The kids thank you for that! I loved your snowman! I think Randy tried to go the easy way and do a small fort instead!
What a fun dad to go play with the kids in the snow. 1 hour late start for school was perfect.
I am so jealous! I am really missing snow! It figures the first big snow year in ages is after we move!
