Cousins

We didn't wast any time starting our Summer Fun.  School got out on Friday and we met the cousins the very next day for a "cousin swap" or if you ask the dads "prisoner exchange".  Hunter went to Coeur d'Alene to spend the week with Zach (Braydon was at EFY), and Savannah and Gavin came to our house!  SO MUCH FUN!!

We did all sorts of exciting things, like going to Wild Waves, and playing in Seattle.

We all drove to Canada (see previous post), and from there we met back in Coeur d'Alene where the rest of the Butlers met us for a family reunion.

Uncle Chris is awesome.  He drove us around on his boat for 3 solid days.

Emma learned to knee board!

Hunter learned to wake board!

Austin was brave and let us drag him on the knee board.

We did a lot of relaxing,

and a little fishing.

We watched movies in the most amazing home theater.

It was complete with movie theater popcorn and an italian soda bar.  Yum!

We played our favorite game, spotlight stealth.

Some people really get into the game, well they all do but this is pretty awesome.

We celebrated Linsey's 15th birthday!

We also celebrated the Fourth of July!

By the end of the week, we were pretty much exhausted, but in the best kind of way.

O Canada 2015

Visiting Canada is one of our favorite family vacations.  We especially love Waterton and bringing the Butler cousins along with us only made it more exciting!

We love hiking Bears Hump.

It's always fun to feed the little chippers who aren't afraid to eat right from your hand.

or your mouth... Yuk!

We were hot and tired after hiking and drove by a fire truck that sprayed it's hose to cool us down.  Super cool!

Our boys thought it was fun to throw their shirts and watch them fly high into the air once the water caught them.

We love getting ice cream downtown.

It's never a good feeling to realize there is a bear REALLY close to where you are.  Yikes!

One of our favorite hikes is Red Rock Canyon!

These kids played for hours at Pass Creek!  I love that they are so easily entertained, and that cool temperatures don't ruin their fun.  This water was freezing, but you'd never know by looking at these pictures.

Jared bribed the kids to do all sorts of things for a dollar.

The cousins headed back to Idaho to prepare for our family reunion later that week.

We spent July 1st in Raymond!  It was extra special to see Grandpa Bill.

One of our favorite treats

Sno-Bobs!

We were off to a pretty good start and knew it was going to be a great summer!
