Happy Halloween

It was another great Halloween at our house.
My boys were darling.
Hunter was a cowboy. Yee Haw!
Austin was a chicken.
He got all sorts of attention.

My girls were not darling, they were actually pretty scary.
Emma was a dinosaur and she really wanted her face painted.
Jared did the painting, but Hunter had the idea to paint the bottom of the jaw across her face. Scary!
After seeing Emma's fancy face painting, Linsey decided she didn't want to be just any old Rock Star. She wanted to be a Zombie Rock Star.
Most of the family had been sick earlier this week and several times this evening, I asked Linsey if she was not feeling well. She was fine though. I guess it was the make-up.
It's always fun to come home and sort the candy.
Notice Austin pushing Hunter away from his stash. Don't mess with his candy.
And here you can see the sugar starting to work it's magic.
Even Austin had a bit of a sugar high.
And I can't forget Jared's birthday. Nothing went as planned starting with the fact that half our family was sick on his birthday, including him. But, everyone is better now and we had a nice dinner and birthday cake tonight. We sure love you Jared ... Happy Birthday!

I didn't even realize how cute your boys were and how scary the girls were! I'm glad you let them be, and Austin looks just like Emma in the chicken suit!!
...and Happy Birthday to Jared!

Too fun Camille, expect for the being sick part. I feel for you though! 5 of the 6 of us had the stomach flu last week. I don't know how Quinn escaped it, but he did. Happy Belated Birthday to Jared! Hope this year will be fantastic since the day wasn't too fun while being ill!

Didn't get a chance to see you guys that night, except Hunter. Austin is the cutest chicken I've ever seen!!!!

I agree with Bri, your girls look scary and your boys adorable (I love Austin's little chicken suit!) I love that Emma wanted to be a dinosaur; I don't know many five year old girls who would choose that costume.

I liked reading your Disneyland post. It made me excited for next year (I had my kids come and look at all the pictures). I'm glad you guys had such a good time!
