Happy Birthday Emma!

  Nine Years Old Today!

Happy Birthday to our sweet little girl today.  We love Emma so much and had a great weekend celebrating her.  It all started Friday night with a Frozen birthday party and 14 little girls.
Emma decorated the front porch.

Here's the cute bunch, all ready for dinner.

A few games.

Of course we had to watch the movie Frozen, and popcorn and treats are a must when you watch a movie.

The music is what makes this movie so entertaining.  These girls knew the songs well and sang their little hearts out.  It was too too cute!

It was such a fun night for Emma.  She could not have been happier!

Today was Emma's actual birthday.  We had crepes this morning for her birthday breakfast and after church opened a few gifts and ate her favorite dinner, stuffed pizza rolls.  We invited a few families over to have ice cream with us.  What a perfect way to end a really fun birthday weekend.

We love this girl so much!  Emma is such a blessing in our family!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!

On Saturday I took Emma and Austin to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt!

Linsey is always finding cool crafty ideas on pinterest, this one was especially cool.

After church on Sunday we drove out to Olympia and had a lovely dinner and visiting with Jared's family.  It was a really nice Easter weekend.

Spring Break

Our Spring Break could not have been more perfect!  Well, maybe a trip to somewhere tropical would have been cool, but part of why I loved Spring Break so much was because my kids were able to have fun without actually going anywhere.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, maybe it was the best Spring Break weather we've ever had.

 We went to Redondo Beach.

We had a fun activity with the youth roasting hotdogs and marshmallows in our backyard.

Jared took some time off work and we all went to the zoo one day.

We also went swimming and saw a movie, played soccer and basketball at the nearby parks, and had friend over to hang out.  We didn't play all week long though, we also did some family work projects.

We planted some trees and worked on setting up some garden boxes.

We ended our perfect Spring Break week with a beautiful bike ride on the Orting trail.

It had been such a perfect break, it was extra hard to get back into our normal daily routines, but somehow we managed.  It really was a perfect Spring Break though!
