As you might have guessed, I am trying to gain popularity by playing to our strengths. We happen to have a family that exactly matches the family from the movie "The Incredibles". I even happen to look just like Mr. Incredible. When the movie came out on DVD and everyone with children saw it at least ten times, I got calls from old friends saying "so, I was watching this movie the other night and it reminded me of you so I thought I'd give you a call and see how things are going." I've gotten so used to it that it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, we decided to play along and we all dressed up like them for Halloween last year. We walked around downtown Auburn and had our pictures taken and people honked their horns. We felt rather famous!
All the attention got me to thinking, did someone secretly watch our family and then make a movie about us? I mean, I not only look like Mr. Incredible but I act like him too! Always reliving the glory days of Rugby games past and such. Oh well, I doubt Pixar is going to fork over any royalties at this point. Although I am going to try a small acting career making short clips for YouTube, more to come on that later...
